The Beautiful Summer Has All Passed

I do not quite understand why this summer has been so rainy. I do not really mind it, but there have been too many days like that, and it is exhausting.

I noticed long ago that when I wake up in the morning and pull back the curtains, a sunny day makes me instinctively happy, while a cloudy one leaves me subdued.

Autumn has arrived, and the days are mostly clear. Still, autumn has no real vacationAutumn has plenty of public holidays; it's just a pity there is nothing like the long summer or winter break.. Friends have scattered in different directions, and that, too, feels like a loss.

When this album first came out, I happened to need background music for a course presentation and specifically looked for the instrumental of this song. At the time, I never imagined it would be his last album—and that this song would turn out to be so prophetic.
